《藥師如來證契儀軌》之開示
Q & A for Medicine Guru Buddha Unification Sadhana

問:在《藥師如來證契儀軌》之〈五、供奉〉中:『一切聖眾放五色光(藍、白、黃、紅、綠)充遍法界,加持一切眾生。然後,藥師琉璃光如來以外之一切聖眾皆化光進入藥師琉璃光如來心中』。

1﹑ 一切聖眾放五色光充遍法界,是從心輪,還是全身?
2﹑ 另一切聖眾化光進入藥師琉璃光如來心中,是何種顏色的光呢?
3﹑ 所有光是否是從藥師如來頭頂進入至心輪呢,還是直接進入心中?

答:1﹑Either way is fine.
  任何一種都可以。
  2﹑You can think of different holy beings transforming into different colors of lights or all holy beings tranforming into 5- color lights. The main point is that five colors represent five wisdoms, five elements, five classes of Buddhas families, etc. So all good qualities and pure qualities of the Dharmadhatu merge into Medicine Guru Buddha.
  你可以觀想不同聖眾化為不同顏色的光,或者一切聖眾化為五色光。主要的是五色代表著五智(法界體性智、大圓鏡智、平等性智、妙觀察智、成所作智),五大(金、木、水、火、土),五方佛(毗廬遮那佛、不動佛、寶生佛、阿彌陀佛、不空成就佛)等等。所以法界中一切好的及清淨的性質融入藥師佛。
  3﹑Gathered from all directions into the heart chakra. Only when there is some holy being on top then you need to think that it came down through the top of the head.
  來自所有方向的光集中,直接進入心輪。只有當本尊頂上另有聖尊,才需要觀想光從頭頂降下。

問:《儀軌》中之〈七、成就〉:『在一切眾生經藥師琉璃光如來甘露加持而回歸本淨,全都化光融成無限的天藍色光明。藥師琉璃光如來渡生圓滿,亦化光融入本淨之光明中。全法界成為無限無分的一體』。

1﹑一切眾生也是包括行者在內?
2﹑全都化光是指一切眾生化為白光,或是藍光,抑或清淨光明?
3﹑藥師如來是否是化藍光融入本淨之光明中?

答:1﹑Of course.
  當然。
  2﹑Into the sky-blue light.
  化為天藍色光。
  3﹑Sure. All join in the same sky-blue light.
  正確。所有都化為天藍色光。

問:《儀軌》中之〈十、相即〉:『藥師琉璃光如來與眾生交融於本淨光明中;聖凡之名相區分漸漸消逝』。其意思是藥師佛與眾生都融於本淨光明中不見了,全法界是呈現無邊際之藍色光明?然後以藥師佛化現為行者之相,也是說行者即為藥師佛,行十二大願教化及救渡諸有情於世間?
答:The self of the practitioner is no longer there. Medicine Guru Buddha, in order to help beings in this world, appear in the form of the practitioner to carry out the salvation activities.
行者之自我已不復存在。藥師佛為了救渡此世間的眾生,即現行者之相,展開教化之工作。

問:在《儀軌》之〈三、整體〉中,觀想藥師七佛的形相,是否是與〈七、成就〉中的藥師琉璃光如來的形相一樣,都是藍色之虹光身?或是以〈藥師佛聖像〉,還是以密宗唐卡中藥師佛,做為觀想之用?而藥師七佛是觀想成七尊不同的身色、手印的藥師佛?還是同一形式的藥師佛,如《藥師法門常課簡軌》般?
答:Actually either way is fine. Therefore it was not spelled out clearly.
確實上任何一種都可以。所以沒有明確的標明。

問:此《藥師如來證契儀軌》之〈七、成就〉中,在觀想藍色光明中,忽然炳現羯摩杵,杵上現八獅子座,再漸次於座上現蓮、日墊、月墊。而在《阿彌陀佛證契儀軌》中,則為現蓮、月墊、日墊。是否是一樣的含意?
答:According to Guru Chen’s teachings, all Buddhas have sun cushion and moon cushion because they have both wisdom and compassion. But in some cases sun appears and moon is under the sun, and in other cases, moon appears and sun is under the moon. So in reality they have both wisdom (sun) and compassion (moon). But they may appear to emphasize sun aspect or moon aspect.
根據陳上師的教導,所有的佛都有日輪 (墊)與月輪(墊),因為佛都兼擁智慧與慈悲。但是有時候日輪顯而月輪在下;也有時月輪顯而日輪在下。事實上一切佛都兼有智慧(日)與慈悲(月),但也可顯示強調智慧或慈悲的特質。

問:在〈八、轉咒〉中, 咒語及咒輪停止後,此時藥師佛心輪之蓮、日墊、月墊及吽字,是否也跟著消失不見了?接著再修〈 九、一氣〉 呢?
答:No. It just said it stopped. It did not say that it disappeared.
不是。《儀軌》只是說它停止,並沒有說它們消失了。

問:若果修習者在〈三、整體〉中,把藥師七佛觀想成七尊同樣形相的藥師佛,如〈藥師佛聖像〉的,還是如藏傳唐卡中藥師佛藍色的虹光身像,任選一種,應該可以是不是?
答:Yes. Better to use the holy image of Medicine Guru Buddha. But visualize it as blue rainbow-like body.
是。最好是用〈藥師佛聖像〉。但是觀想藥師佛為藍色之虹光身。

問:上師,在〈七、成就〉中,則必須觀想藥師琉璃光如來成藍色之虹光身,所以不用〈藥師佛聖像〉做觀想,才比較符合儀軌,是嗎?
答:Shape is as the holy image of Medicine Guru Buddha, but its substance is blue rainbow-like. How come you stick to the form as the holy image of Medicine Guru Buddha that it has to be not like rainbow? It can very well be of that shape and still rainbow-like.
形狀是如〈藥師佛聖像〉,但其性質是如藍色之彩虹般。你何以執著於形相如〈藥師佛聖像〉而一定不是如彩虹般的呢?它可以正是那樣的形狀(藥師佛聖像)並且是如彩虹般。

問:虹光身是指身體是光明的、很明顯,但沒有實質,是透明的,與彩虹一樣?
答:Yes.
  對。

問:對於兩個不同的儀軌--《藥師法門常課簡軌》及《藥師如來證契儀軌》,兩者該如何修習?請上師說明。
答:Sadhana of Medicine Guru Buddha is more for the sutrayana practitioners. Medicine Guru Buddha unification Sadhana is for tantric practitioners. People can choose one for regular daily practice, or practice them alternatively.
《藥師法門常課簡軌》是傾向於供顯教行者修習。而《藥師如來證契儀軌》則是為密乘行者而設。修習者可以任選其中一種做為日常的修持,或者兩者輪修。
