Net of Thoughts

Yutang Lin

Traces without shadow yet locks the eyebrows;
Clouds all over the sky, who could drive away?
Net of thoughts knitted by fools to add worries,
Its untying hinges on sweeping the mind clean.

Comments:

Net of thoughts entangles people; few could escape. Perpetual self-torture, why suffer like that? Purify one's mind through chanting Buddha's name; gradually leisure would emerge. Only then could illusions and delusions be readily recognized, and one would be spared the spinning around that is like a mouse chasing its own tail.
