Taking Lessons

Yutang Lin

Entered the world naked and leaving empty-handed,
Leashed by karma and goaded by grasping to rebirth.
Acting and playing out roles could hardly take a rest
Until realizing oneness beyond prejudiced adherence.

Comments:

Whatever had been done throughout life eventually could not be grasped and possessed. Only following karma and attachments to float up and down in the ocean of transmigration. Life is like a play on stage; what benefits are there to act and sing? Advancing on the path to enlightenment until graduation through full awakening, life is a lesson to take.
