Comment: Rituals and rules are means to help cultivate activities and purify minds. They should not become formality and frameworks to decorate and confine. Once completely engaged in practicing the Dharma, at any time and place one's mind does not deviate from the Dharma and one's activities become a continuous practice. Do not become attached to formality and consider such activities as practicing; otherwise, that would enhance grasping. Do not judge others by actions observed; cold or warm only the one who drank experienced.
