Stagnate not in the Past

Yutang Lin

Time and site flow with incessant changes,
Sincerity or pretension gradually revealed.
Stagnate not in the past to stir up dusts,
Dedicate to services and enjoy inner peace.

Comment:

All things are flowing in changes. No need to compare and calculate to cause one's own sorrows. In the long run, only pure goodness and concrete services will yield peace. Past events that are stagnant in the mind form an illusive net, trapping one to live in its shadow. Discard the illusive net, step into the open, and experience the ups and downs in life with a fresh mind.
