From: Yutang Lin Some disciples run out of Powa-blessed rice, or on trips that are not convenient to carry rice or water over, or would like to build Dharma connections with local deities, and hence they asked me as to what to do in all such cases. I told them that they can simply burn the mantra sheets that we are circulating freely (see http://www.originalpurity.org/gurulin/b5files/b0/b0109.html ), or offer some rice or water in front of an image of me for a while, and then use the rice or water to make offering to local deities, or scatter them to blessed beings in need of help or Powa-blessing. In this way they can get the rice or water upon arrival of a new place, and then still perform the Dharma services to help beings there. Some disciples who has followed this teaching did respond saying that they sensed the effective benefits. (The email in Chinese listed below is one such example.) So I put it down in writing and post it at our websites for more to share such Dharma benefits. May all beings attain Enlightenment soon!
