Subject: Rafal Seremet - ask from Jacek
Hallo one more time!
Jacek Budzinski has another problem with email- his letters to You are coming back to him as:MAILER DAEMON
由於Jacek Budzinski的電郵有另外的問題—他給您的信件以寄件者MAILER DAEMON返回。
Maybe he can try again or get another email address for emailing to me.
so Jacek asked me, to send to You his letters and asks.
Also Jacek translated Your mail about disciple Zhi Xuan from Si chuan
and asked me to put on the web - so I will do this soon.
These are words from Jacek:
Dear Master Lin,
Could You please share with me and others Dharma friends some thoughts about sadnes in the contekst bodhisattwa way and dharma practice?
I think you mean: Sadness in the context of Bodhisattva way and Dharma practice.
Briefly as follows: When we do Dharma practices we gradually free ourselves from worldly thoughts and return step by step to our original state of innocence of a sentient being. Therefore, we become less rigid and more emotional. This is the reason why we become easily moved to tears or feel sorry for others' sufferings. It is a good sign of spiritual advancement, and there is no need to worry about this. After a few years it will go away, not because your heart becomes cold again but because you become more mature and see a wider scope, so the emotional part becomes balanced by your wisdom.
Do You have some dharma experiences connectet with this topic?
Yes, and that is why I can explain to you as stated above.
How practitioner should see this feeling
It is a step on the path that we will go through and it is on the right direction. No need to worry about it; you will come over it.
Best wishes and regards
