通常大家心裡都免不了有些罣礙、煩惱。近年來大規模的戰亂紛起,加重了大家對人生不安穩及苦難重重的體會,並且認清人為的殘酷及破壞之深重,令很多人的心情都覆蓋在深深的陰影下,並且面對無解的亂象,甚至覺得人生缺乏足以快活的前景。 時局的紛亂不是短期容易消弭的。但是我們如果一直生活在陰影重壓的心態裡,不但無補於事,更是白白喪失本有的清明。即使能夠醒悟這個道理,又要如何纔能恢復及維持心地的晴朗呢? 佛法教導我們,所有我們體驗的都是不斷流逝,無從把捉的。我們不順從經驗的本質,而要堅持某種見解,就會苦惱無休。境遇的遷變,因緣太繁複,誰也無法掌控——所有人為的設施終究是會有疏漏的。並且,一切無常,生死之際往往是不期而遇;所以,現在停留在陰影下,就有可能餘生都苦惱。認清個人實際上無從決定境遇,就最好安於順受,纔可能遠離怨歎而保持虛懷的本有清明。 每天修習佛課及鍛煉身體會有助心地清明。時常祈禱世界和平會有助於大家從對立的心態及想法解脫出來。

Usually, people have some worries and concerns in their minds. In recent years, large scale wars erupted, and hence added people’s experiences of instability of human existence and layers over layers of dangers and hardships. Furthermore, recognizing sharply the cruelty of human-caused sufferings and the severity of human-made damages, caused many people’s minds to stay under heavy clouds, and facing conflicting and confusing phenomena renders some to feel living lacks prospect of happiness in life. The complicated confusion of current world affairs cannot be readily pacified. However, if we remain living in a mental state under heavy clouds, it will not help improve the situation but only cost us to lose innate clarity of mind for no fault on our part. Even if we can become awake to this reasoning, how then can we restore and sustain a sunny state of mind? Dharma teaches us that all we experienced are constantly fleeting and cannot be grasped. When we don′t abide by the nature of our experiences and insist on certain views, then suffering and worries will arise incessantly. Evolution of situations are due to conditions too many and too complicated, no one can control them—all artificial arrangements will eventually show omission and leaks. Furthermore, all are impermanent, the juncture of life and death often turns up unexpectedly; hence, if one′s mind stays under a heavy cloud now, it could mean that the rest of one′s life remains shady. Recognizing that one indeed cannot decide on the situations that one will run into, then it would be better to remain contented as one settles in, only then can one stay away from complaints to sustain the original clarity of a mind free from grasping. Practicing Dharma sessions and doing physical exercises daily will help sustain the clarity of mind. Constantly praying for world peace will help all to become emancipated from views and mindsets that are antagonistic.
