藏地咸仰雪山尊
岡仁波齊名聲揚
佛印苯徒皆朝禮
磕頭轉山絡繹來

梵名流傳大水晶
蒙攝尊前得親睹
主峯透明無一物
直覺靈體活生生

顯現聖域諸事蹟
令知輕慢墮險境
失途遺體欲再逢
當先祈求聖開恩

「行李簡單」留叮嚀
臨去加持身頓輕
朝禮專誠不顧身
方得消業領聖恩

〈轉山紀行〉亮尊顔
隱境密相油畫掀
巍巍功德描不盡
佛子報恩但盡心

願此禮讚廣流傳
令眾咸知大水晶
靈尊恩威遍四方
加持善信早證覺

Ode to Mount Great Crystal

Yutang Lin

 

Snow mount, the precious one,
        revered by all throughout Tibet;
The fame of Gong Rin-po-che spreads
        throughout all directions!
Buddhists, Hindus and Bonpos,
        all make pilgrimage to the holy mount;
Flocks after flocks, they all come
        to circumambulate through long prostrations!

Mount ′Kailash′, in Sanskrit, means Great Crystal,
Brought me to your presence, and I witnessed:
The main body is transparent, with nothing inside,
I intuitively sensed that you are alive!

Displayed all sorts of events in the holy realm to me,
Let me thereby know that disrespect causes disasters,
Wishing to reunite with missing ones or find corpses,
One should, at first, supplicate to the Mount for blessings.

″Travel light″ was the final kind reminder to me,
As the holy one departed, blessed my body to feel light.
Concentrate on the pilgrimage, ignoring physical comforts,
Only then can karmic debts be cleared in holy grace!

″Report on Circumambulation ″ shows holy countenance,
 Secret appearance in hidden realm revealed in oil painting .       
Monumental merits could not be described exhaustively,
Dharma-sons simply did what we could to repay kindness!

May this respectful praise become widespread!
Let all know about the Great Crystal!
Venerable spirit expands grace and awe in all directions,
Blessing faithful ones to attain enlightenment sooner!
