Letting Go

Yutang Lin

Since Dharma says, all are originally pure, and we are originally Buddhas.
Enlightenment should be not to contrive something, but only to let go of all contrivances.

Since all are impermanent, then it is impossible to say that one will wait till some set time to let go; right now, not letting go, it will become impossible to let go.

All contrivances, layer over layer, intertwined into a complex structure that surrounds one over and over, again and again; from where can one let go?

Contrivances originated from intentions; as long as intentions stay, contrivances never cease.
Letting go of all contrivances should begin with thoughts after thoughts only set on Buddha.

With Bodhi intentions that is universal to all beings, practice Dharma and giving, offer services and dedicate one’s resources and life to Dharma; thus, one put letting go into actual deeds.
Sustaining Bodhi intentions and deeds consistently, over months and years, then one will gradually experience mind free from attachments and hindrances.

As intentions dissipated, naturally arises the state free from contrivances and originally pure.
