徹悟徹鬆 林鈺堂 通常教人放鬆都是說,你做這樣、你想那樣。其實緊張的根源是心中堅定不移的對「我」的執著。 佛法教示,「我」只是一個籠統的觀念,若能加以仔細考察,其實是找不到「我」的。 真正領悟其實沒有找得到的「我」之後,馬上所有的緊張都自然消逝。這才是徹底的放鬆,所以說:徹悟徹鬆。 了悟「我」是找不到的之後,自然別人也無「我」,所以說,無人相。接著順理推之,便會親見「無眾生相、無壽者相」。 「我、人、眾生、壽者」都沒有了,所以說,「本來無事」。明白這些道理的修行者,可以自己檢討:若在惹事,便是「心中正鬧」,著了我相、人相。正宜隨緣度日,隨遇而安,庶幾近乎「本來無事」。

Thorough Awakening Thorough Relaxation Yutang Lin
Usually instructions on relaxation would recommend that one does this or one thinks that. In fact, the source of all tensions is rooted in a firm and irresectable grasping to ″self″. Dharma expounds that ″self″ is merely a general and ambiguous concept; if one could investigate it carefully and in details, then, indeed, ″self″ simply cannot be found. Upon genuine comprehension of the fact that there is no ″self″ which can be found, immediately all tensions will naturally disappear. And this is the thorough relaxation. Hence, thorough awakening thorough relaxation. After comprehended that ″self″ cannot be found, naturally others also have no ″self″; and hence in the Sutras it is said, no notion of person. Following this reasoning, one will see clearly that there is no notion of sentient being and that there is no notion of living being. Since all notions of self, person, sentient being and living being are vacuous, thus it is concluded that, ″originally there is no affairs″. Dharma practitioners, who has comprehended these principles, may reflect on themselves. If one is still engaging in matters, that would amount to ″mind in an agitated state″, and one is obviously under the spell of notions of self and person. It is only proper for a practitioner to pass days in accordance with situations and be settled in circumstances as they arise, so that one would be closer to the state of ″originally there is no affairs″.
