弟子有疑惑

眼前的結解了
將來的迷不一定出得來
教以如何思考以應用佛理
纔有一生的教益

偶而一問
忽熱忽冷
或者十分鐘熱度的弟子
問甚麼答甚麼即可
真誠長久投入佛法的弟子
凡有提問或迷惑
則教以如何解惑
以期彼等將來能獨立行走於覺路上
永遠領受上師的教益

Teaching to Be Independent

As questions raised by disciples
Supply answers
That is the usual way
Teaching how to find answers on one's own
Only then can the benefits last in the long run

When disciples are bewildered
Reveal instructions to open their minds
Current curtain over mind's eye is raised for now
Future delusions may remain a labyrinth with no exit
Teaching how to think to apply Dharma in daily life
Only then can the benefits of teaching last a lifetime

Occasionally raised a question
Suddenly hot and suddenly cold
Or ardent for only ten minutes
For such disciples
Simply respond to what was asked is quite enough
As to disciples who are sincere and devoted constantly
Upon their inquiries or bewilderment
Teach them how to solve the puzzles on their own
So that in the long run they will be able to walk independently
Upon the road to full enlightenment
Always bathed in the benefits of Guru's teachings
