昨夜八點半
沈女居士來電話
親友五人落大海中
搜尋未獲
請我代向海龍王祈禱
能平安歸來
二十分鐘後再接電話
五人皆被救起矣

事後得知
他們在離岸四十浬處遇大浪
船被推二海浬後沉沒
五人全落大海中
夜裡幾乎不可能被尋獲
生死只在一線間

我心中求龍王
放他們回來
就在祈禱後他們就被找到並救起

這樣危險的境遇
如此迅速的感應
海龍王的大恩大德令人無以回報
只能以記載事實來廣傳其恩德
並讓大家知道
遇到困難可以經由祈禱獲得解救

Dragon King's Grace Saving Sea Disaster

Last night at eight thirty
Madam Sim phoned me
Five of her relatives and friends were lost at sea
Searching efforts so far yielded no results
She asked me to pray to the Dragon King
May they return safely
Twenty minutes later I received another phone call from her
All five had been rescued at sea

Later we learned that
They encountered heavy swells at forty miles from shore
The ship was pushed two miles away and then sank
All five of them fell into the ocean
At night it was almost impossible to be found at sea
Life and death were only one thread apart

I prayed in my mind to the Dragon King
Release them and let them come back
Right after the prayer they were found and rescued

Situation of such dangerousness
Inspirational response of such swiftness
Great grace and virtue of the Dragon King render it
        Impossible for us to repay him in any way
I can only record the facts to acknowledge and spread his meriteous deeds
And let all know that when they encounter difficult situations
It is possible to obtain resolution through the help of prayers
