早遣　林鈺堂

有心有閒方成寶，無力無用盡可拋；
屢積物累難清爽，早遣塵垢易達道。

物品之可貴隨情境而異。累積無用亦成心地負荷。隨時清理，使身心皆得清爽。修行去執，亦同此理。

Discard Early　Yutang Lin

With interest and leisure things might be treasured;
Lack of energy or usage anything can be discarded.
Burdened by accumulation, open clarity is obscure.
Expel worldly views early to help attain awakening.

Comment:

The value of things varies with feelings and situations. Accumulation of useless items forms a mental burden. Sort and clean out now and then to give body and mind some open clarity. That practitioners should clean up all sorts of grasping is for a similar reason.
