The Chang Le, Lasting Pleasure, seal is a small seal carved in the style of Han Dynasty seals. Disciple Wang Hao encountered it in a seal shop in Bei Jing and suggested disciple Xiao Yan to get it for me.
「長樂」印,是一個漢式風格的小印。弟子王浩在北京的一個印舖中偶然看到,並建議弟子曉艷請來給我。
The Chang Le Wu Ji, Lasting Pleasure without Limits, seal was carved by Upasaka Tan Seong Yeow and offered to me many years ago. When he made the offering to me, it occurred then to him that the phrase signifies Sheng Le
勝樂, Supreme Pleasure, the holy name of a Tantric Vajra.
「長樂無極」印是多年前由陳祥耀居士所篆刻並送給我。當他在送此物給我時,他纔發現原來這句子具有「勝樂」的意思─「勝樂金剛」聖名,
These two seals came from diverse sources and yet happened to be one square and one round in shape, and one carved in Yin Wen and one in Yang Wen. What a harmonious match that came about naturally and mystically!
這兩個印來自不同的來源,而巧合的是一個方形,一個圓形,而且一個是陰文,一個為陽文。多不可思議的自然融合啊。
