Mr. Lian in China sent me this work of seals carved and composed by him
through disciples Li Ku and Xiao Yan's help.
透過弟子離苦和曉艷的幫助，在中國的廉先生寄給我由他雕刻及設計的印章。
The whole image is a Chinese character Shou (Longevity), and it consists of
100 seal of variations of how the character Shou can be written in some
ancient style.
整幅圖像是漢字「壽」（長壽），而它是由100個「壽」字在某種古代的文體中的變形印所組成。
He also wrote in Chinese an explanation on the making of this work which
took him several months.
他還寫了一篇說明製作此作花了幾個月過程的中文文章。
This work arrived here on May 5 when it was Buddha's birthday in Asia.
Today, May 6, is Buddha's birthday here in USA, so I hang it up in
celebration of Buddha's birthday, and to pray for the longevity of Dharma.
這作品在五月五日寄達此間，正當它是佛陀在亞洲的聖誕日。今天，五月六日，是美國這裡的佛陀聖誕日，所以我將之懸掛起來以慶祝佛陀的聖誕，並祈禱佛法的長住。
I took photo of this work and scanned his explanation so all may share this
precious work of art and ingenuity.
我為這作品拍了照片，並掃描出他的釋文，以便大家分享這件珍貴的藝術創作。
